Low-hanging fruit: Improving wikipedia entries
LessWrong, July 23, 2013
Abstract
Wikipedia entries are often people’s first impressions of topics and can even influence a person’s decision to pursue related productive resources. Improving Wikipedia entries about topics of particular interest to people who frequent LessWrong, such as rationality, existential risks, and decision theory, could positively impact people’s perception of these topics and, thus, promote more productive actions. Hence, the author decides to improve Wikipedia entries on such topics and calls for help to make this a collaborative project. – AI-generated abstract.
