Ellis on the limitations of dispositionalism
Analysis, vol. 65, no. 285, 2005, pp. 92–94
Abstract
In “Dispositionalism and the Principle of Least Action”, I argued that the principle of least action and dispositionalism are not compatible. In “Katzav on the Limitations of Dispositionalism”, Brian Ellis responds, insisting that his version of dispositionalism is compatible with the principle of least action. Here, I examine and reject Ellis’s response.
