Why global poverty?

Abstract

I gave a talk at Effective Altruism Global on why effective altruists should prioritize global poverty work. Here’s a text version of that talk, following the same outline. It’s probably closer to what I think than what I said out loud, but is still not as well grounded as I’d like. Before we begin, I should just warn you that there was a bit of a miscommunication over this talk. You see, I was e.
