Abstract

This book discusses the main arguments for and against the existence of God: the ontological, cosmological, and design arguments, the arguments from consciousness and morality, and the problem of evil. Philosophers discussed in the book include Hume, kant, Berkeley, Swinburne and James. The conclusion reached is that the arguments against theism outweigh those in favor.
