Abstract

The Oxford Handbook of the Political Economy of International Trade surveys the literature on the politics of international trade and highlights the most exciting recent scholarly developments. The introductory chapter provides a general overview of historical trends in trade policy and identifies some of the central empirical puzzles motivating studies of trade politics.
