Abstract
Less Wrong is a community resource devoted to refining human rationality. It was founded in 2009 as a blog based on previous work by Eliezer Yudkowsky, who was concerned with promoting rational thought to advance AI safety research. It rapidly gained popularity and became a significant hub for rationalists. In the early 2010s, however, a diaspora of members emerged as they moved to pursue other projects and develop their own independent voices. Although Less Wrong remains active, it is less vibrant than it was in its heyday. – AI-generated abstract
