Proceedings of the Fifth Asia-Pacific Computing and Philosophy Conference, held October 1–2, 2009 at the University of Tokyo’s Sanjo Conference Hall. The conference invited papers from philosophy, computer science, robotics, and media arts, fostering scholarly dialogue between designers and critics of computing systems on topics including artificial intelligence, ethics, human-computer interaction, and society-technology studies.
