Utilitarian recommendations for grantmaking by altruistic funders were generated using a simulation process that allowed recommenders and funders to simulate counterfactual delegation scenarios. The S-process system favors funding things that at least one recommender is excited to fund, rather than things that every recommender is excited to fund.
