ECAP10: VIII European Conference on Computing and Philosophy

Abstract

Proceedings of the eighth European Conference on Computing and Philosophy (ECAP10), held at the Technische Universit"at M"unchen from October 4–6, 2010. The conference was devoted to the foundations and limits of man-machine interaction, exploring how thoughts, actions, perception, imagination, and experience increasingly depend on informational, computational, and robotic systems with increasing complexity and autonomy. Sessions covered topics including information ethics, roboethics, technological singularity, and acceleration studies.
