Abstract

The aim of this book is to present side-by-side representative and cutting-edge samples of work in mathematical psychology and analytic philosophy with prominent use of mathematical formalisms. Volume 3 of the Advanced Series on Mathematical Psychology includes chapters on topics such as optimality in multisensory integration dynamics, Fechnerian scaling, Bayesian adaptive estimation, probabilistic lattices and decision theory, the presumption of equality as a requirement of fairness, and knowledge spaces regarded as set representations of skill structures.
